Grand’Italia pasta is produced in Italy and you can taste it! The stuffed pasta is made from semolina or wheat groats, derived from durum wheat (grano duro) and free-range eggs. The use of eggs gives a full flavor to the pasta.
Tortellini are small dough rings with a filling of, for example, cheese, meat, mushrooms or spinach. According to one of the legends, the creator of this pasta was an Italian innkeeper who fell under the spell of Venus and made a paste in the shape of her navel.
Recipe (4 people) > Tortellini with sage and hazelnuts:
1. Cook the tortellini for 13-15 min.
2. Melt 100g butter and add a clove of garlic, sliced sage leaves and a hand of coarsely minced meate hazelnuts.
3. Leave for 4-5 min. simmer and remove the garlic.
4. Mix with the pasta and serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
